    Worked great with cordless drill!

Worked like a charm. I drilled into an old oak tree with a 20 volt Dewalt cordless dril. Very impressed!

Excellent drill bit that perfectly matches the various diameters of the g.l. for proper placement.

    Worked, but just barely

Posted by Mike Cochran on 19th Mar 2015

The middle cutting blade on the bit is only held in place by two hex screws and this is poor solution. I only had three holes to drill and it took me over an hour to do so. The bit worked fine on the first hole but then on the second the cutter became loose and would not rotate and therefore the bit would not advance. This became an exercise of drilling 1/16"-1/8" at a time and then re-aligning the cutter (by guess) and tightening the screws as tight as possible and drilling again.
Either the cutter needs to be spot welded in place or there needs to be groves milled into the shank to accept the hex screws.
I think that I deserve the entire bit price returned because of the extreme frustration your lacking bit design caused me.
