GL® Heavy Duty 4x6 Knee Braces are designed for larger loads to anchor a wooden brace at a 45-degree angle to a Garnier Limb®, holding the load out away from the tree. This allows for the load to be in compression. The Heavy Duty 4x6 Knee Brace is ideal for larger Treehouse builds using 6”x lumber.
When using Knee Braces that are attached to the same tree, always use a fixed bracket. Caution! When you have all fixed points in more than one tree. Always Float your joists, to allow the trees to move and not pull on your treehouse.
All of our Brackets and Knee Braces are designed to fit a 1 1/4" diameter GL
